About the Pub
The Crown and Anchor is a 300 year old building partly constructed in stone from the nearby local quarry in Ancaster.
The pub is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Welby between the A52 and the B6043, accessed via either road, and overlooking the village green. The dog friendly bar, with its wood burner going through winter, is an ideal place to meet up for food or drink or both. The main restaurant and the smaller garden room restaurant are ideal places to sit back and enjoy our food in an informal relaxed atmosphere.
